Hadith of Kanzul Ummal
Sayyiduna ‘Umar Faruq Azam رضی اللہ عنہ said, ‘Do not get involved in
something that doesn’t benefit you. Stay away from your enemy, and avoid
your friend unless he is trustworthy because no one is like a
trustworthy man. A trustworthy man is the one who fears Allah عزوجلand
stays away from sinners (who disobey Allah عزوجل and His beloved Prophet
صلی اللہ علیہ والہ وسلم because he will teach you sin. Don’t tell him
your secret and seek the advice of people who fear Allah عزوجل.’
